Archive Innovation is a media digitization company local to Northeast Indiana. With ten years of experience in photography and digitization, we’re dedicated to preserving and sharing your most treasured memories.
All jobs have a base service rate of $10 per job and a unit rate for each item. Restoration for photographs, slides, and 8mm is done by request, with a pricing estimate given after we’ve evaluated the work necessary.
Slides
Price: $0.40 per slide
You don’t have to dig through the closet to find the slide projector and screen to view your slides. Digitizing them makes them available on any screen, at any size, so you can relive that great vacation.
Negatives
Price: $0.40 per negative
Often overlooked, negatives are an essential part of the photographic process. Even when digitized, they can be used to make the positive, or reverse, image. This can be invaluable in the case of a lost or damaged positive print.
Photos
Price: $0.40 per print
Photographs are the foundation of any family’s collection of memories. We help protect these priceless images by making digital copies. Our full restoration services will return your prints to their original beauty using the latest in photo restoration software.
3 1/2″ floppy discs
Price: $2.00 per disc
Have an old box of floppy discs sitting around, and no way to view their contents? We’ll rescue your files and transfer them to modern storage!
Note: Due to the nature of software, we cannot guarantee modern computers will have software able to open files found on older media. Every attempt to access content will be made.
Audio Cassette
Price: $5.00 per tape
Tapes. CDs. MP3s. How we record sound has changed quickly in the past twenty years. If you still have that collection of old cassette tapes, you can listen to them again, now Walkman-free! Just choose whether you want your tapes transferred to a CD or MP3 files on a flash drive for your listening pleasure.
Video Cassettes
Price: $10.00 per tape
Nothing beats watching home movies as a way to revisit family memories. Skip the hassle of finding a VCR and adjusting the tracking, we have you covered. Whether it’s videos from dad’s camcorder or off-air TV recordings, now you can experience them with the convenience of DVD or digital video files on flash drive to watch on your computer. We convert standard VHS, VHS-C, and MiniDV.
Documents
Price: $0.20 per page
Your family’s story is told through words – diaries, letters home, newspaper clippings, and written family recollections. We offer document scanning services to keep these stories alive and ready to be read and shared at any time in an easy-to-use .pdf file.
8mm and Super 8 Film
Price: $10.00 per reel
8mm and Super8 film were the primary formats for home movies and video distribution before VHS. These reels are delicate and difficult to play without the proper equipment – we make them easy to access on DVD or digital file. We also do minor restoration to remove damage from playback on request.
Note: Most 8mm film is silent. Only Super8 films marked “sound Super8” have sound.
Digital Storage
Price: $10 per disc, $20.00 per flash drive
Your media will be delivered on your choice of disc set, flash drive, or both. No matter which method you select, you’ll be able to enjoy your memories whenever you want. Every order comes with our one year backup guarantee – this means that we’ll have your files stored and ready if, at any time in a year from your original order, you ever want to order extra copies.
